Building HavenlyCount: The Calm, Clear Business I’ve Always Wanted
When I first got into accounting, I never imagined I’d be building a business like HavenlyCount. Honestly? I thought I’d stay in corporate finance forever, quietly climbing the ladder and doing what was “responsible.” But over time, that responsible path started to feel more like a trap — one built on burnout cycles, urgency that wasn’t mine, and a career that didn’t leave space for peace.
I started dreaming of something different.
Not louder. Not faster. Just… clearer. More me.
Why I Started HavenlyCount
I didn’t start HavenlyCount to become a mogul or to hustle my way into burnout with a different logo. I started it because I wanted freedom — for myself and for the people I serve. I wanted to create a space where service-based business owners could stop drowning in their numbers and start using them to make powerful, aligned decisions.
I believe that clarity is one of the most underrated superpowers in business.
And that peace of mind? It’s just as valuable as profit margins.
Who I Serve (and Why)
I work best with service providers who are mission-driven — people who are a few years into their business, know what they want, and just need someone to help them see the clearest path forward.
They’re not greedy. They’re not chaotic. They’re not looking for someone to save them.
They’re just ready to stop Googling answers and start growing with intention.
Honestly, they’re a lot like the kind of person I want to date someday: grounded, passionate, a little nerdy, and deeply motivated to help people for the right reasons. 😂
What Makes HavenlyCount Different
Bookkeeping isn’t just “data entry.” And it’s definitely not optional.
What most people don’t realize is that bookkeeping can make or break a business. It’s not just about invoices and receipts — it’s about building a foundation strong enough to grow on. Hiring a bookkeeper is just as essential as hiring a CPA. The strategy is in the numbers, if you know where to look.
At HavenlyCount, I bring clarity, calm, and structure to your books — not just so they’re “done,” but so they make sense to you. So you can grow confidently. Make bold decisions. And actually enjoy the business you’ve worked so hard to build.
My Vision (And Why I’m So Excited About It)
I have no interest in being another online entrepreneur who burns bright and fizzles out. I’m building slow, steady, and smart. My roadmap has three stages — and I’m committed to honoring each one.
Stage One: Foundation & Flow
Right now, I’m focused on building systems, attracting dream clients, and refining how I serve — all while working my 9–5 and stacking savings for a full-time transition in late 2026.
Stage Two: Expansion with Intention
Once I go full-time, I’ll hire a VA, a CPA, and a money manager to support me. Not because I can’t do it all — but because I shouldn’t. I want to grow with support, not in spite of burnout.
Stage Three: Leadership & Legacy
Eventually, I’ll have a full support team — two bookkeepers handling the bulk of client work, a marketing manager bringing in new leads, and me at the helm overseeing growth, outreach, and the vision. I’ll be living in the Carolinas with my husband (yes, I’ve already written the meet-cute in my head), running HavenlyCount from home while raising a blended family and wrangling three happy dogs in the backyard.
Why I’m Sharing This
Because I know how easy it is to think everyone else has it figured out.
To assume success has to be fast, loud, or flashy.
To feel behind when you’re actually building something incredible — and intentional.
So here it is, in writing.
My vision. My roadmap. My why.
Not just for me — but for you, too.
If you’ve been dreaming of more peace in your business — more clarity, more freedom, more support — you’re not alone. And you don’t have to do it alone, either.
Let’s build something steady.
Something clear.
Something Havenly!
